SomosCoop Movement

What if, instead of competing, we decided to cooperate?

Our times demand flexibility and innovation to solve a wide range of challenges.

It demands quick responses.

It calls for a different way of doing things, a more diverse, more human way.

What if, instead of taking risks alone, we invested together? Joining forces to create businesses in a different way, where everyone is an owner. But a true owner: with the right to voice their opinions and vote.

Why choose the co-op?

Cooperativism brings positive impacts to those who produce, sell, work, and consume products and services with fair prices and socio-environmental responsibility. Choosing cooperativism is choosing a business model that benefits everyone.

Co-op has been sustainable since its inception. The virtuous cycle of development begins with people, extends to the community, benefits the economy, and improves the planet. Let's take a look?

Every day, Maria das Graças – a skilled embroiderer who raises her three children alone – joins a group of other women to embroider dish towels, bedspreads, and shirts. Because they work together, they have a larger and more significant output, which they sell through a cooperative located in the same city where you live. The cooperative – founded by Maria das Graças and seven other women – handles the entire process of advertising, selling, and delivering the products.

How to participate

Consume products and services from cooperatives.

Cooperativism is advantageous for those who buy, sell, and undertake business ventures, in addition to making a significant difference in communities, keeping the economy thriving in a sustainable way. If all of this is important to you, a cooperative is the ideal choice. To be part of this movement, look for products and services from the 4,800 cooperatives that are located throughout the country and in all sectors of the economy. There are many options for consuming more consciously.

Look for the SomosCoop stamp

The SomosCoop stamp helps you identify products and services that are from cooperatives. If it has this stamp, it's a Coop product. Look for it in the market and in the cooperatives' communications, and you can be sure you're buying an item produced with respect for the environment and people, while also contributing to your community.

If you are a cooperative, use the stamp

Simply access the Brand Center, register, and download various stamp options to use on packaging, communication materials, fleets, and many other possibilities. In addition to the stamp, you'll find several materials that will support your cooperative in showcasing the strength of the cooperative movement.

Wherever you see the SomosCoop stamp, you'll find products and services with Coop quality
